Unusual Things

How do i draw objects from a "unusual point of view"?

My art teacher assigned us to draw an object from an unusual point of view. A way that you would not normaly look at something. I tryed drawing many things but none of them look like (at all) what i was trying to draw. Can you please give me some idea's what to draw or some links? Your help is appriciated. Thank You(:

2. Could this be aimed metaphorically? If this was the intention then you could use a shoe as a pair of gloves or something crazy like that etc... (something taken out of context or an object used for some other purpose) If it was pretty clear then you could do something that was three dimensional and see what it would look like in 2D or cartoon format. thirdly you could try fish-eye lens perspective or close up drawing (if you did the latter you could show some good texture and detail which would make for an aesthetic image).
