what kind of unusual animals live in extremely hot areas?

i need to know what kind of an animal that is unusual,like not a common choice for a project, can live in extreme heat like a desert plz help thx a bunch!:)

1. A creature I would chose is the horned lizard.They can live in deserts and what makes them unusual is that when threatened they can shoot blood out of there eyes(no joke) to distract,scary, or confuse what ever scared it.
2. If you want really extreme heat, look at undersea hydrothermal vents. The water coming out of them can be as hot as 400 degrees celcius (4x the boiling point), yet a surprising number of animals live around them. The animals that live there are generally simple, and include things like tubeworms, shrimp, and crabs.
